Information processed by VisitRelay
VisitRelay can process information you choose to provide, including:
- care-profile labels and relationships;
- exact medication snapshots and the date you last changed or checked them;
- appointment details, questions, concerns, preparation items, and manual progress;
- selected Calendar event date and title;
- imported visit PDFs or images and their filenames;
- recorded microphone audio, on-device transcripts, and marked moments;
- your exact personal notes, reviewed briefs, follow-ups, and reminder preferences.
This content can contain sensitive health information.
No developer collection or tracking
Version 1.23.0 has no developer backend and does not collect or transmit visit content, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, advertising data, or tracking data to the developer.
- No account system
- No advertising or cross-app tracking
- No analytics or third-party SDK
- No cloud sync or external artificial-intelligence provider
Apple system services may download on-device speech or language-model assets under Apple’s terms. VisitRelay does not send appointment content to a developer-controlled server.
Medication snapshot boundary
A medication snapshot is your exact local reference list. VisitRelay removes blank lines but does not identify, parse, normalize, verify, infer, or change medicine names, strengths, instructions, interactions, allergies, or current status. The displayed date means only that you edited the list or selected I checked this list now.
Permissions
Microphone and speech recognition
Microphone and speech access are requested only when you choose the recording workflow. Recording cannot begin until you confirm every participant agreed. Typed notes remain available without recording.
Calendar
Calendar access is optional and requested only after you choose import. VisitRelay displays eligible upcoming events locally and retains only the date and title of the event you explicitly select.
Notifications
Reminders are optional local notifications. Follow-up wording is generic by default; detailed wording requires a separate Settings opt-in. Preparation reminders always use generic wording.
Sharing and exports
Nothing is shared automatically. You inspect an exact preview and use Apple’s Share Sheet to choose a destination. Medication snapshots are excluded from visit-preparation exports by default. Raw transcripts, source audio, personal prompt notes, and recognition terminology are excluded from ordinary handoffs.
Temporary export files use complete file protection and are removed when their preview closes or during cleanup. A destination you select may retain its own copy under that destination’s privacy terms.
Backup and storage
VisitRelay stores app content locally. A backup is created only when you request it and is protected with password-derived encryption plus authenticated AES-256-GCM records. Imported visit documents are included; source recordings are optional. The password is not stored and cannot be recovered by the developer.
The privacy-minimized widget reads a protected App Group snapshot. Names and task wording are absent by default, and the widget is marked privacy-sensitive while the device is locked.
Retention and deletion
You control retention. Delete visit-document copies or source audio separately, delete one complete visit or care profile, or delete every VisitRelay record from Settings. Deleting a profile also deletes its medication snapshot. These actions remove associated local files and owned notification requests.
Medical and recording notice
VisitRelay organizes information you enter or record. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, interpret clinical results, recommend medical decisions, or replace a healthcare professional. Recording laws vary; ask every participant and record only after everyone agrees.
